New lipsticks!

Hey everyone! The other week Debenhams had a mega event, and it's really good for makeup as they normally have 10% off most of it. I also knew I had £20 on my beauty card. I went in to try and find a lipstick which I could wear in the day, but also at night if I didn't want to go for a red (which I normally wear ALL the time).

I asked the assistant on Chanel what she thought and she tried the colour on my lips and I really liked it. She also put a balm on before which I really liked so I bought that too! Overall they were about £18 each I believe, and with £20 on my beauty card I didn't spend too much!

The lip moisturising one that she first put on wasn't what I thought I was going to buy, but when she put it on it felt really nice and it doesn't make the lips sticky like vaseline or other lips stuff too. This is called:

Rouge Coco Balme

This is the lipstick version of it, but there's like an actual moisturiser too. I put it on before the other lipstick so my lips aren't so dry. I really think it helps make the looks glossy without making them sticky like you are wearing lipgloss.

What I actually went in for was this kind of pinky colour! It's called:

Rouge Allure 91 Seduisante

I love the colour! It is SO good for the day. It's not so bright that it looks un-natural. I think it looks really nice, and with a pinky blusher it looks cute. Plus the lipstick tube is amazing!

Clarisonic - 3 month review

Hello everyone!

This post is going to be my 3 month review on the product Clarisonic! Most of you have probably heard of it, it is most commonly explained as "the toothbrush for your face". The one that I have is called the Clarisonic Mia, which is the cheaper version but is still £120! The difference to the normal one is that it has one setting, but from what I know the only other setting on the more expensive one is slower, so normally you wouldn't use that setting anyway. Here is what it looks like:

What does it do? Basically you use it with a cleanser and it gets out all the impurities and dirt which is in your pores. It gets rid of 6X more makeup than using a cleanser with a cottonwool pad would.

The reason I wanted one is because I was having really bad issues with spots, breakouts etc. When researching things to help it this was probably one of the most expensive ways to help it but can also be really effective. Sometimes it takes up to 6 months for people to notice results on reduction of spots. I have found it has done wonders!

I use the Clarisonic once a day after I have taken my makeup off. I feel it leaves my skin soft, and by looking at the brush head once I've finished cleansing you can see how much dirt is left on your face! The cleanser I use with it is the 'Purifying Cleansing Wash - Super Facialist - Una Brennan'. This is the only other cleanser I've used other than the one which comes with it. I have found the cleanser easy to use and it was only £8 for the bottle.

Overall I think this product has really helped me with my skin issues. At a price of £120 I can see why some people might be put off, but, for me, I have found it to be worth it, and it would be especially worth it if bad skin is a real issue for you. I've only had the product 3 months, so hoping that my skin does keep improving as I still get spots. I really believe for it to work you have to make sure you're using it once daily for at least the first 6 months, and I will do another review to see if there's any progress.

London for the boy's birthday - Day 2

So this is going to be the next day of our trip to London. This was just me and my boyfriend going around London as we didn't have anything planned.  This was what I wore...

From top to bottom:
Hat - ASOS
Top - ASOS (says HATE on back)
Leggings - American Apparel
All the other items are same as previous day.

So to start off with we went to Hyde park and we tried out the bikes which are all dotted around London. It took us AGES to understand how we got them off the stand! It was actually really fun, and I'd really recommend getting them if your just walking around. We had them out for about an hour and rode around Hyde park and the park next to it.
Next we walked to Buckingham Palace which we just wanted to go see! I love the royal family so it was really good to see where William and Kate kissed, and it's crazy to think the whole area being rammed when the jubilee and wedding was on.

We then went to have some lunch in Covent Garden. We had already been told to go try the mexican called 'Wahaca' it specialises in mexican street food, so it's kind of made mexican tapas. All the dishes were soooo good! Some were quite spicy but they didn't blow your head off or anything! It was such a nice place to eat, so if your going to covent garden I would try here!

Our lunch at Wahaca
Opposite Wahaca there is this bakery which we decided that we HAD to go in, I believe it was called BB's. We got one victoria sponge cake, and a banoffee pie slice. These were so nice too! So save yourself for pudding and go there!

We then just walked up to Leicester square and onto Piccadilly circus. From there we went home.
This time in London it was so nice! It was nice not having planned to do anything and just 'going with the flow'. Everything I did I enjoyed so definitely try and do some similar things if you can do.

Thanks for reading this part 2 of my trip!

London for the boys birthday - Day 1

Hey, so over this weekend I went up to London for my boyfriend's birthday! It was me, my boyfriend, and his parents who went up there. We did so much stuff and it was so much fun! We went to a cocktail bar 40 floors high, comedy club, and casino!

First this is what I wore:

So this is my outfit! I tried to make it look casual, but also smart as we were going to the comedy club.
Jacket - River Island
Top - Topshop
Sunglasses - ASOS
Skirt - Topshop (Sale!)
Bag - Topshop
Boots - H&M
To curl my hair I used my Babyliss curling wand, which I love! It stays in really well, and the curls look really nice.

So to start with we went to this amazing cocktail bar called SushiSamba, which is 40 floors high in Heron tower. It is a restaurant and a bar, but we only went to the bar.

I ordered a Cosmopolitan which was so nice, but i did cost £12! Luckily enough I didn't pay! You seriously do pay for the view, but for something to do, and for just one drink, I really would recommend going as the views are amazing, and the cocktails are good too!!

Next we went to Leicester square and had dinner. We went to the restaurant the grill on the square, which was SO nice! I had a steak which I normally don't go for, and it was really, really good! It's literally just across the square from the Odeon theatre.

Next we went to the comedy club which I didn't really know what to expect. The comedians we saw were really good, but I can't remember their names, which is really annoying, but whoever we saw I really enjoyed myself.

It feels like I've said this for everything that I did in London but I would really recommend going to a comedy club! It was a really good night, and it was really good to do something that I haven't done before. I will definitely be going to another show!

So this was my first day in London! It was really good to do something different, as normally I go there to either see a show, or go straight to oxford street shopping!

My next post will be what we did the next day!

Outfit of the day

Hey everyone, I thought for my first proper post for ages I'd do a simple Outfit of the day. This outfit is really easy to wear, and as you will see the blouse you could dress up if you wanted to.

From top to bottom, I'm wearing ASOS sunglasses, Glamorous shirt (bought from ASOS), River Island jacket, Topshop jeans and converse, and finally the bag is from Zara. The blouse and sunglasses are new, I kind of went on a spending spree when ASOS were having 25% off!! Hopefully when I've got my exchanges back I will do a post of my recent buys, which are mainly from that one big shop I did.

Now I've typed this it seems like such a teeney post, but never mind! I will be posting more often for sure!

WELCOME BACK

Hi everyone, as you can tell I haven't blogged in SO long! I started University in September, so my posts were starting to slow, and then around Christmas I was so busy I wasn't able to. I really enjoy writing my blog so that's why I'm definitely going to start again. I'm going to carry on doing posts about fashion, but will probably be a bit of everything also! I have put pictures up on my instagram account of  new purchases and things i've been up to, and obviously I'm always on twitter so can look there also. Please keep looking as I'm hoping to update my blog on a regular basis

Thanks for reading, see you when i do my first post next week!

Lots of love,

BLOG CATCH UP: Holiday outfits

This is my final blog catch up piece, and after this I am going to tell you about my time starting University and stuff! So I went on holiday in September and these are a few outfits, and if you're lucky enough to be going anywhere hot (unlikely, as it's November) then here is a few ideas.

So this outfit has the skirt from Topshop (in my previous blog post), I got this crop top from Topshop also, I think with high waisted skirts or shorts and just showing a tiny bit of skin looks nice. My bag although you can't see it is the Marc B quilted one from Topshop, and finally my sandals are from H&M.

My hair I have curled and used my Babyliss curling wand. My crop top is again from Topshop, the shorts are also Topshop. The sandals I'm wearing are from Zara.

Finally this is possibly one of my cheapest outfits! The playsuit is from Debenhams and it had 70% off so was only £8 or something, My sandals are from Primark, and my bag is one I've had for years from H&M!

Thank you for reading.

Lots of love
