London Town: Ben Howard & Natural History museum

Hey guys

So on Thursday me and my boyfriend went to see Ben Howard at the Hammersmith Apollo. I don't personally listen to a lot of Ben Howard, but my boyfriend loves him so I got us tickets! We decided to go up for the day, although both of our bank balances are looking hideously small! We were trying to think of something to do that is free/cheap, and decided we would go to the natural history museum. I haven't been there since school, so it was quite nice to go back.

Here is my outfit I wore. I was really struggling to decide as the weather wasn't that good but I didn't want to wear jeans in case I got hot at Ben Howard! So I decided on a midi skirt and boots!

Necklace - ASOS
Top - H&M
Jacket - Dorothy Perkins
Skirt - Primark
Boots - Topshop
Bag - Topshop

I did enjoy the Natural History museum, but the constant flow of school children got rather annoying by the end of it! It is a good place to go if you are on a budget as it's free and quite interesting (geeky I know)!

We walked around London for a while and ended up going to Westminster and walking by the river and then to Leicester Square to eat! We ate at the Angus Steak House. It was really nice, and the steak was cooked just how I liked it! Afterwards we really fancied a crepe so we went to have pudding at the Haggen-Dazs restaurant place where you could sit down. I have to share what we had as it was just so yummy!!
We then went onto Ben Howard at the Hammersmith Apollo. I think the venue was so good, as we were standing the floor was quite steeply sloped so everyone (most people anyway) should of been able to see. I think I will listen to Ben Howard more now. His voice is really calming.

Do you know any good places to go cheap in London?
What's your favourite Ben Howard song?

Thanks for reading

Love Alice
