Night out in Birmingham

Hey there!

Last weekend I went to visit my friend in Birmingham at the weekend with about 15 of my other friends! It was a really good weekend and was nice to get dressed up looking nice! This is what I wore:

Top - River Island
Skirt - Topshop
Heels - New Look (different colour linked)

I was lucky that my makeup and hair was done by my sisters! Hair was curled with the Enrapture Totem Styler, and the makeup was a mixture of MAC eyeshadows and MAC lipstick.

Hope you like the outfit!

Segway Fun!

Heyyy.

This is a bit of a different post but thought I would write it anyway. So a while back I went on a segway rally type thing with my sisters and my boyfriend. I thought I would just write a little review type thing and how the day was set out. I think this is a good idea for a Christmas present as it's coming up as it is a bit pricey.

So I bought two voucher type things from buyagift.co.uk. At the time I think I spent around £50 for each of the voucher, which is two people. So overall the experience was about £100 for the four of us. I think the price is quite expensive but it was really fun, and it's something that's a one off kind-of thing so I wasn't put off.

The group was about 10 of us, which was just enough so we all had space to ride around and not be in each other's way. At first we were taught how to step up and down from it, then one by one we did a little circuit. After that we spent a little time going around a smaller circuit, then went onto a main big one. This had a few dips and hills that if we felt confident enough we could try, we spent about half an hour by ourselves going around the course. The whole experience was just over an hour. Overall it was a really fun thing to do and would totally recommend to do it for a present with someone. It could be for all ages as well!!

Hope you like this random little post, but thought it would be an idea for christmas presents!

Dinner Date

Hey,

Another quick Outfit Post. Really Simple, and very black!! I was off out for dinner with my boyfriend's family. I wanted to look nice, but not too dressed up, so heeled boots and a casual jumper is how I met in the middle!

Necklace - River Island
Jumper - Primark
Boots- Topshop Alegra
Lips - Bourjois Rouge Edition 07

The jumper is such good value! It's 10 pounds and super soft! Also these jeans are new from ASOS, they were extremely good value (I got them for 19.50, but it looks like they've gone up in price), as they are similar to Topshop Joni Jeans which I took back because they worn so quickly.

Lots of love

What's on my face?

Hey!

So I thought I would just share what my 'every day' makeup is. It's really simple, and it can be (in times of need) quick to apply! All of the products are pretty much either from a drugstore or from MAC.

So firstly I moisturise my skin with Boots Botanics Hydrating Day Cream. I then use my Wake Me Up by Rimmel concealer. I really like the real techniques brushes, and the first one I use is the Expert face brush (the small gold one) to apply my foundation which is MAC Face and Body. This foundation I have used for ages now! I really like how it is so liquid, so it is easy to build, depending on what type of coverage you want. The finish on this foundation is quite shiny, so I always powder after using the Stay Matte by Rimmel powder. I apply the power with the Powder Brush by Real Techniques. The blusher that I've been wearing has been recently is MAC Melba, I would say it is a cross between pink and peach, as it's not too pinky, like other ones I've used previously, I apply using the Real Techniques Blush Brush. For my eyebrows I used to use a pencil, but I now use MAC Omega eyeshadow, I apply this using the MAC 266 angle brush. Finally, my mascara is L'Oreal Telescopic.

I know this is a pretty short post with a hefty bit of writing, but I thought it was the easiest way!

Hope you enjoyed, thinking of doing a similar post for 'night out' makeup, what do you think?

A few new makeup/beauty buys

Hi guys,

So Debenhams had another megaweek last week, which meant 10% off of cosmetics which I think is so good! Plus I had beauty club points so thought I'd use them! I probably (actually definitely!) spent a little too much, but I needed some makeup buys before I went back to Uni!

Clarisonic heads
Really needed to get these, but they are actually quite expensive! It comes in a pack of two though, which is helpful a couple of months down the line!
MAC - Embark
I was recommended this by my sister, although I need to buy MAC Copperplate to go with it, but it was unavailable. I haven't had too many MAC eyeshadows so I am intrigued as to how they will look/ stay on well.
MAC - Omega
I bought this mainly to use for my eyebrows. I've always used an eyebrow pencil, but I thought by using this it might be more precise, and I have liked using it so far.
MAC - 266 brush
This brush was mainly to go with the eyeshadow I bought for my eyebrows. It's really thin so is really good for eyebrows.
Clinique Chubby Stick - 02 lots o' latte
This was definitely one of those impulse buys! I have seen some Youtube tutorials where they have used one and it just seems so easy, and I can tell you it is. It's practically a big soft pencil that you can apply all over your lid, and you just need to blend out a little. I am really happy with this buy and would definitely recommend it!

The joys of having sisters..

Hey there!

So do you ever have it when you look into a wardrobe full of clothes, but just can't find anything to wear? Well that happened to me and I had a party to go to! I am lucky enough to live with two older sisters who have even more clothes than me, so whilst I'm back from uni I make full use of their wardrobes! So absolutely none of the outfit that I'm wearing is mine, but thought I would do a post as I really liked it!

Necklace - New Look
Top - Primark
Shorts - Topshop
Shoes - New Look

I'm going back to uni in a week! So I've only got a week left of wearing there clothes, so I definitely need to raid there wardrobe for my last week at home!
